Solrød Autoland runs both an auto workshop and a car scrap yard, and we are looking for a skilled and engaged auto mechanic who wants to become part of our team.

With us you get a diverse daily routine where tasks span widely. You will work with service and repair of customer cars as well as tasks related to our auto scrap yard. This means you will have the opportunity to use your mechanical skills in many different ways, and two days are rarely the same.

You will be responsible for your own tasks, but you will also be part of a team where we help each other and brainstorm about the various tasks.

Your tasks

Your tasks will include, among others

• Service and repair of passenger and commercial vehicles
• Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting
• Repair of mechanical and electrical faults
• Maintenance and repair of vehicles
• Installation and after-installation of equipment
• Mechanical ad hoc work
• Preparation and inspection of vehicles
• Dismantling of spare parts from cars for auto scrap
• Assessment and removal of usable spare parts
• Handling and sorting of parts related to auto scrap
• General practical tasks around our auto scrap yard

Part of the position will therefore be related to auto scrap, where you will help ensure that usable spare parts are dismantled correctly and can be recycled or resold.

It is an advantage if you have experience with auto scrap, dismantling spare parts or knowledge of used spare parts, but this is not a requirement. The most important is that you have the right mechanical skills and the desire to learn.

The position

• Full-time – 37 hours per week
• Start: As soon as possible or by agreement
• Salary: Determined by qualifications and experience
