On Granmosevej in Kjellerup we are opening a new and modern residential and day offer with 24 apartments under SEL §§ 107 and 108, as well as a §104 day service, which will be established progressively from September 1, 2026 and onwards towards 2027.

The offering is new and modern with green and open surroundings. Here we create the framework for a safe, developmental, and meaningful everyday life for adults with physical and/or mental developmental disabilities.

In the Social Department in Silkeborg Municipality we work according to the vision: ”Together for an independent and meaningful daily life.” At Granmosevej you will have the opportunity to bring the vision to life in a new offering that we build together from the ground up.

You will become part of our §§107 and 108 offering for adult citizens with permanent physical and/or mental functional impairments . Your task will be to support everyday life where the need is greatest and to support the citizen based on 24-hour rhythm plans and daily structures.

The first month consists of an ambitious intro program including 4 days of KRAP training from Psykologcentret Viborg-Skive, which will enable us to meet the first citizens with professionalism and a common stance.

The intro program will be held in August; employees starting later will not be able to participate in the special intro program.

Your tasks will include

• To support citizens to live as independently as possible.
• To carry out both pedagogical developmental programs based on KRAP and perform daily care and nursing tasks.
• To collaborate with colleagues in teams, across teams, and across citizens’ offerings.
• Daily documentation, preparation of status, participation in interdisciplinary meetings and meetings with citizen, relatives, authorities, guardians, etc.
• To contribute to practical tasks in a living house with many functions and many balls in the air.

Your profile

You are trained social educator, or have another relevant social professional background. You are flexible, approachable, and thrive in collaboration across groups and professions.

• A desire to work across groups.
• Good communication skills.
• A good overview and the ability to step in where there is a need.
• Be proactive, curious, and collaborative.
• Experience with – or interest in – working with people with disabilities.
• Have a driver’s license (B) and a willingness to drive our disability bus.

Employment terms

The positions are 37 hours .

The working hours will alternate between day and evening shifts and every 2nd or 3rd weekend – according to preference.
