Would you like to help make nature the children’s learning space?

We are looking for three engaged pedagogues or pedagogical assistants for Midtbyen's Nature Kindergarten, 37 hours per week – but we are flexible.

Pedagogue / pedagogical assistant for the kindergarten group until 1.12.26

Pedagogue / pedagogical assistant for the nursery until 1.12.26

Pedagogue / pedagogical assistant for Larverne until 1.1.27

With us, nature is more than a destination for an excursion. It is a learning space, a community and a source of curiosity, play and development. Therefore, we are looking for colleagues who view nature as an active part of the pedagogical work and who want to create meaningful learning experiences together with the children.

Who are we?

Midtbyen's Nature Kindergarten is an integrated day care with 125 children aged 0-6 years, distributed across nursery, between group and kindergarten.

We work from a common ambition to create safe, inclusive and developmental learning environments where all children feel they belong. Through close relationships, clear adults and strong child communities we support the children's well-being, development, learning and formation.

Everyday life is characterized by structure, recognizability and clarity. At the same time there is room for spontaneity, immersion and the children’s initiatives.

As a nature kindergarten we have a fixed connection to Kær Vestermark, where we explore nature year-round through play, movement, investigations and shared experiences. We see nature as a valuable learning environment that strengthens the children's curiosity, motor skills, imagination and opportunities to participate.

We are looking for a pedagogue or pedagogical assistant who

• Can both join the children’s play and take the lead in the play, create frames, set direction and actively participate in different play communities
• sees relationships as the foundation for children’s well-being and development
• can translate nature into meaningful learning and play communities
• is present, engaged and professionally reflective
• takes co-responsibility for developing strong and inclusive learning environments
• meets children, parents and colleagues with recognition and respect
• can create participation opportunities for all children
• is curious about their own practice and wishes to develop professionally
• actively contributes to a working community characterized by collaboration, humor and shared responsibility
• is motivated by making a difference for children and families in different life situations
