Environmental worker – businesses and agriculture

We are looking for an employee to handle tasks with businesses and agriculture. In Guldborgsund Municipality there are approximately 240 small and medium-sized enterprises and approximately 230 farms with livestock, where the municipality is the approvals and supervisory authority.

Your primary tasks will be case processing, supervision and preparation of environmental approvals for several types of businesses and farms. In addition, there are tasks with handling of appeals and access to information requests.

You will have a relatively large contact surface with citizens, businesses, farmers and consultants, so there will be emphasis on you possessing good collaboration skills.

We also place great emphasis on you having a solution-oriented and service-minded approach to authority work.

Your tasks will be composed according to your knowledge and experience as well as ongoing in relation to your competence development.

Professional competences

We expect you to have a relevant natural or environmental science education, preferably at bachelor or master level. It would be an advantage if you have knowledge of case processing and legislation in the fields, including environmental law. There will be an emphasis on having experience with IT tools for registration and reporting of data as well as ESDH systems. You must have a driving license (B).

Personal competences

We value that you are responsible, imaginative and have good writing and speaking skills. At the same time you must be able to work independently and with others. You must be service-oriented, meticulous and a good closer.

Salary and employment

Salary is determined according to the applicable collective agreement. The workplace is Guldborgsund Town Hall, Parkvej 37, 4800 Nykøbing Falster.

The position is 37 hours per week. There will be opportunities for home office days.
