ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER

We are seeking an assistant store manager for our store in Ringsted. The position is a maternity leave cover and is intended to be filled from November 1, 2026.

As an assistant store manager, your primary task is to share responsibility for the daily operation and management of the store in close cooperation with the store manager, to be a role model for your colleagues and to serve our customers.

The right candidate is passionate about helping to lead and develop the team by showing the way and taking the lead. You should have experience in the industry and preferably in a similar role. You can create a good dialogue with our customers and know how to close a sale. You are good at staying focused and keeping an overview and have a flair for sales and service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the daily operation and management of the store when the store manager is not present
• Implementation of management initiatives and guidelines for the store
• Prioritize and plan the store's daily tasks, as well as optimize sales in collaboration with the store manager
• Shift planning via SameSystem in collaboration with the store manager
• Initiate sales-promoting measures in collaboration with the store manager
• Lead, motivate and develop the store's staff
• Hiring staff; full-time and part-time in collaboration with the store manager
• Participate in planning of staff meetings
• Co-responsible for merchandise handling including orders, stock management and maintaining the number of stock statuses set by management
• Co-responsible for the store's appearance, including in-store merchandising, windows, mannequins and displays, the store's overall look
• Ensure that the store has Denmark's best customer service!

SUCCESS CRITERIA

• Achieve the sales budgets and KPIs set by management
• Assist in meeting the budgets for wage costs, shrinkage and absence percentages, as well as inventory variances
• Establish a stable and well-trained store team, focusing on developing MSCH talents ready for future leadership roles
• Be able to present a store at a high level, both visually and commercially.
