Nurse with an interest in a 12-month temporary position in day shifts at Glostrup's municipal nursing service

Our good colleague has become pregnant and we are therefore seeking a nurse who wishes a 12-month temporary position, with the possibility of extension and who would like to try municipal nursing,

You are an engaged and clinically grounded nurse with a desire to work in a small municipality, where nursing, home care and the visitations/assistive devices are gathered under one roof. You will become part of a work community where we daily spar across professional groups and functions and solve the tasks together, to the benefit of the municipality's elderly citizens.

Your primary function

Complex and acute nursing tasks for citizens in their own homes and in the nursing clinic – including cooperation with hospitals, general practitioners, emergency teams etc.

Conduct nursing assessments, screenings and evaluations.

Take clinical leadership and ensure coordination, continuity and coherence in complex citizen pathways

Early detection and prevention of disease

Professional sparring with other professional groups

Ensure good professional documentation.

The practical

You will work daytime with a weekend shift every 4th weekend. Your hourly wage and shift schedule will be discussed collectively; full-time is preferred. Employment is in accordance with the applicable agreement with the Danish Nurses' Organization. Upon employment, a reference and a criminal record check will be obtained.

The nursing group in Glostrup Municipality consists of 28 nurses and social and health assistants who provide nursing in daytime, evening and night hours at citizens' homes and in the nursing clinic. Nursing is a self-referral unit with a focus on high professional standards and interdisciplinary collaboration.

We are part of a dynamic organization and thus help shape and develop municipal nursing – including the establishment of new collaboration interfaces with hospitals and general practitioners as well as ongoing task shifts from hospital to municipality. We therefore also have a strong focus on ongoing competence development.
