Music teacher

Due to extraordinarily high demand for our music study tracks and as a result four new 1.g study-track classes with music, we are announcing a position based on the subject of music with appointment as soon as possible for our engaged and active music life at the school.

The position can be part-time or full-time, temporary (a fixed-term position) or permanent depending on subject combination and qualifications. For the right candidate there will be ample opportunity to work with a vibrant music life at the school and in the music city of Roskilde.

The application deadline is Monday 19 October 2026, and interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis also before the posting expires.

Applicants must have professional competence to teach in the gymnasial education, cf. the Danish Ministry of Education's regulations here.

We expect you to be interested in education and teaching, to be focused on professional dissemination of knowledge, and to be ready to collaborate with colleagues and management to give our students the best possible youth education. In addition, knowledge sharing as well as professional and pedagogical sparring in both subject groups and class teams are an integral part of the job at Roskilde Gymnasium.

Roskilde Gymnasium is a large secondary school with 41 classes - 6 HF classes and 36 STX classes - and 125 staff and strong student demand for the school. The school is beautifully located in the center of Roskilde and close to the station.
