About the job

Nanortalik Health Centre seeks 2 nurses from week 48 for 2 or 3 months or in a permanent position.

The tasks at the Health Centre mainly consist of consultations with the town's and the villages' citizens; there is bed capacity of 10 beds and the patient clientele is mixed, as the site is both an emergency department, an admissions department for all patient categories in the town. At times there is no physically present doctor, but doctors from Nuuk via telemedicine.

There is close collaboration with the regional hospital in Qaqortoq, which is located north of Nanortalik

We offer

  • Opportunity to work with all aspects of nursing
  • A workplace where close interdisciplinary collaboration is highly valued
  • Delightfully engaged and competent colleagues
  • An interdisciplinary environment where we are good at leveraging each other's competencies

We are looking for you who

  • Would preferably have some years of experience.
  • Recent acute competencies
  • Enjoy working in a varied and independent way
  • Would preferably contribute to a good working environment
  • Are engaged, take initiative and want to contribute to professional development
  • Are courageous and not afraid to try and learn new things.
  • IT skills at user level
