Night driver with truck certificate for a fixed route from Vejle

Have you chosen night work, and do you like the combination of driving, forklift work and responsibility for your own load?

Here you get a steady rhythm, fixed working hours and a night shift where you know what to expect.

For our partner we are looking for an experienced night driver based in Vejle.

You report in in Vejle and drive with a tractor unit and trailer to Odense.

Here you load the trailer yourself with metal products, plates and lengths up to six meters, after which the trip goes back to Vejle.

During the night shift you complete two trips between Vejle and Odense.

Therefore this is not a driver job where the whole night takes place behind the wheel.

You will have an active night shift with both driving and forklift work and are responsible for loading and handling the goods correctly.

The position is particularly well suited to you who have already structured your life around night work.

You must be able to work independently and take responsibility, but you will at the same time be part of the nighttime operations together with warehouse staff and other drivers.

What you will be doing

• Fixed night driving between Vejle and Odense
• Driving with tractor unit and trailer
• Independent loading of the trailer with forklift
• Handling of metal products, plates and items up to six meters
• Placement and securing of goods
• Two round trips between Vejle and Odense during the night
• Collaboration with warehouse staff regarding loading and trailer swapping.

What we value

• You have a valid CE driving license
• You have EU qualification card and driver's license
• You have a valid forklift certificate
• You have real experience with forklift driving
• You have experience with tractor units and trailers
• You work safely and have control of load securing
• You can work independently and take responsibility for the vehicle, trailer and goods
• You are stable and thrive with the fixed rhythm of the night shift
• You speak and understand Danish.

What the company offers

• Fixed night shift Sunday to Thursday from 23:00 to 07:00
• Fixed starting point in Vejle
• A fixed and recognizable route between Vejle and Odense
• Good pay and night allowance according to the applicable collective agreement
• Seniority from the first day of work
• Health insurance
• Thorough training in the route, the equipment and the workflows
• An independent job with responsibility and variation between driving and forklift work
• An active staff association
• Joint barbecue event at the start of each month
• Good colleagues and orderly working conditions.
