We are seeking social and health care assistants or social and health care helpers for the Night Group's nursing homes. Are you passionate about working nights? Then you are the one we are looking for.

In the Night Group, we are divided into 3 areas, and we are currently seeking staff for the Night Group, area 1 and 2, which cover nursing homes where there is one or two on duty at night.

We are looking for trained social and health care assistants or social and health care helpers who have as much focus on professionalism, responsibility and good collegiality as we do. We can offer you a permanent position of 28 hours per week from 23:00 to 07:00 - with a 7/7 schedule and a weekend shift every other week. If you prefer to work fewer hours or become a hourly-paid substitute, this is also possible.

We currently have positions at Herluf Trolle and Sanderum.

About our workplace – The Night Group

Our staff group consists of skilled social and health care helpers, social and

health care assistants, pedagogues and pedagogical assistants, who each night do their best to create a safe and professional environment for the citizens either in their own homes, or at the various nursing homes in Odense Municipality. The working areas are many and the tasks often complex, which is why each night provides new exciting challenges and opportunities to develop.

Complex citizen cases and rehabilitation in focus

We cover the entire Odense Municipality. In our work, we meet many different citizens of all ages with different diagnoses and life circumstances. It gives an exciting and varied daily life with full speed and many new tasks and issues that must be handled daily. We never know how the night has been until we close the door after the completed shift.

We are a friendly, social and close-knit staff and leadership group with a strong focus on professionalism, responsibility and trust in each other. The latter is especially important, as the night shift tasks are often autonomous and therefore require proactive employees who rely on their own professional competence. However, there is always an opportunity to receive good professional sparring with your colleagues or the coordinator of the respective night shift, so help is always just a phone call away if you do not have nearby colleagues in the house.

• Works from a rehabilitative approach and focuses on which professional measures can support the citizen and your colleagues' work
• Can handle a complex and changing everyday life, which is never the same
• Possesses a professional foundation and engagement and approaches development and challenges with curiosity and action
• Has knowledge of IT and is verbally well-founded
• Turns up reliably for all shifts with go-getter attitude and a smile, ready to meet our wonderful citizen group and your competent colleagues

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms in accordance with the current agreement between KL and the negotiating organization. Start date December 1, 2026 or as agreed.
