About the job

Are you passionate about working with the oldest preschool children aged 4-6 years and helping to create a smooth transition to their school start? Then this might be the job for you.

We need a professionally engaged pedagogue who can use nature as a pedagogical tool in the work of giving the children the best developmental opportunities. You will become part of our group with the butterflies, the 4-6 year old children. You are a fixed team of 4 adults for about 18-28 children. You will have the primary responsibility for our admirals, which are the upcoming school children. Every Tuesday they have their own group, where they go on trips, do cognitive activities or play joint games. The group also visits some of the schools that the children will attend.

In our whole house there are about 55 children aged 0-6. We are split into 4 rooms, which have a fixed staff team in each room. We are a house with a close collaboration between the rooms, so if there are courses and illness we help each other across the rooms. We place a high value on parental cooperation and have, for example, Friday morning meals for the whole family every Friday.

We live on a large site with a wonderful natural playground. Here we also have goats, chickens, rabbits and often a cat. We take care of the animals together with the children and on weekends the children take turns taking care of the animals together with their parents. On Fridays we prepare campfire food, which we also eat outdoors when the weather allows — and for the older ones it is the main rule that they eat the campfire meal outside.

You are professionally well-founded and preferably have experience with the oldest preschool children. You have ambitions to create the framework for the best childhood for the children and to be a co-creator of a good workplace for you and your colleagues. You would like to discuss the professionalism and meet your colleagues with curiosity.

If our house sounds like a place you would like to use as part of your everyday life, then call and arrange a visit with Heidi at tel. 28 35 95 25. Then you can see our place and hear a lot more about all the exciting things we do. If after the visit you think that it is exactly you we are missing, we would like to receive your application by email.

Only applicants who are both trained pedagogues and who have visited will receive a response to their application. We hold ongoing interviews and remove the listing when the right employee is found.
