Network System Engineer

In TDC Erhverv we seek a Network Systems Engineer for our Managed Services area. Here you will be part of a professional environment that ensures stable and modern network solutions for our customers. You will work with Cisco technologies, customer dialogue, and ongoing optimization of critical network environments.

About the role

As a Network Systems Engineer you join the team that operates and maintains network solutions for our Managed Services customers. You work closely with customers on operation, troubleshooting, updates and ongoing improvements to their network infrastructure.

You will have a day-to-day with great variation, where technical immersion is combined with dialogue and guidance. At the same time you collaborate closely with specialists in both Managed Services and Consulting to ensure the best solutions for customers.

Primary responsibilities

You will among other things work with

• Operations and maintenance of customers' network solutions
• Cisco Catalyst/Nexus switching and enterprise routing
• Cisco Catalyst Center – automation, provisioning and assurance
• Cisco Meraki
• Cisco ISE
• Troubleshooting and solving complex network-related issues
• Planning and execution of patch management
• Dialogue with customers about operations, changes and optimization possibilities
• Documentation of solutions, changes and technical procedures
• Collaboration with colleagues in Managed Services and Consulting on design, implementation and further development of customer solutions

It will be possible to participate in a on-call shift, but this is not a requirement to apply for the position.

Your profile

We imagine that you

• Have experience with enterprise networks and network operations
• Have in-depth knowledge of Cisco technologies
• Have CCNP-level certifications or equivalent competencies
• Knowledge of other vendors such as Fortinet, Check Point, HPE and Cisco security solutions is a plus
• Can translate technical problems into concrete solutions for customers and colleagues
• Communicate fluently in Danish and English, both written and spoken
• Have a valid driver's license

It is an advantage if you thrive at the interface between technology, operations and customer dialogue.
