About the job
In connection with the implementation of the Health Reform, Svendebjerghave will, as of January 1, 2027, be organizationally divided into a municipal and a regional department.
Svendebjerghave's Municipal Temporary 24-hour Beds will, in this regard, become a satellite department to the nursing home Krogstenshave and will have room for 12 residents. The target group is residents who need a time-limited stay, where there is a focused effort on care, rehabilitation and/or relief as well as support with a view to creating the best possible conditions for the resident's further course.
We are seeking a committed and professionally strong Social and Health Care Assistant, who in close collaboration with colleagues will help develop our new department.
The position is 37 hours per week during daytime hours with a weekend shift every 4 weeks.
We also seek 2 evening shifts with weekend duty every 2 weeks.
In our temporary 24-hour beds we meet people who are in the middle of a change. Some are on their way home after a hospital stay. Others need clarification, rehabilitation, care, support and a plan for everyday life.
What they have in common is that they do not just need a hand to help. They need you, the person behind their need for help.
You will become an important part of everyday life
As a Social and Health Care Assistant with us, you will have a daily life where your professional skills come into play. You observe, assess and act. You collaborate with other Social and Health Care Assistants, nurses, therapists, doctors, case managers and colleagues across the department.
You talk with residents and relatives and you help create the through-line when a person has to move from one situation to another. It requires not only professional competence but also curiosity, calmness and the ability to see possibilities when things may not go exactly as planned.
We are looking for you who
- are educated as a Social and Health Care Assistant
- like to take responsibility and actively use your professional skills
- are good at observing and responding to changes in the resident's condition
- can create security – even when the situation is unpredictable
- thrive in interdisciplinary collaboration
- are eager to learn and develop
- can work independently as well as be a good colleague
- know that good care, high professionalism and collaboration go hand in hand.
With us you get
- a workplace that accommodates professionalism and development
- opportunity to work with different resident trajectories and develop your competencies
- opportunity to help establish our new department with 12 municipal temporary 24-hour beds.
And most importantly you will have colleagues who know that one succeeds best when you help each other.
We believe that job satisfaction, professionalism and collaboration are connected.
Therefore we work to ensure that you have the opportunity to go home from work with the feeling of having made a difference – and with a smile on your way.
Perhaps it is you we are looking for?
If you can recognize yourself in what you just read, we would very much like to hear from you.
You are also very welcome to drop by for a cup of coffee and to see our 24-hour beds, and perhaps meet some of your new colleagues and get a sense of who we are. Then we look forward to meeting you.
The application deadline is October 22, 2026
If you have questions about the position, you are very welcome to contact the department head Anette Agger at 51587657.
If you are considered for the position, with your consent a criminal-record certificate as well as a reference from a previous employer will be obtained, as employment is conditional on a satisfactory criminal-record certificate and reference.
