Night receptionist sought for Go Hotel City (130 hours per month)

At Go Hotel City we are looking for a smiling, responsible and top service-minded full-time receptionist to join our team.

Go Hotels is a newer hotel chain that is growing rapidly, where we work from the slogan of ”easy, fast, comfortable” and offer down-to-earth and personal service to our guests.

Go Hotel City is a 2-star newly built hotel with 130 rooms and 10 apartments close to Amager Strandpark.

The night porter position is a large part-time role with a guaranteed 130 hours per month.

We are open 365 days a year, so the shifts in reception can be every day of the week as well as holidays. The shifts are generally in the time window 22:00-07:00. The shift plan is laid out for 4 weeks at a time where you and a colleague form the night shift at the hotel. The shift plan will as a rule be fairly stable, but with a few variations. However, when you are only two colleagues on the night shift, we expect flexibility to help with shifts.

The flexibility you can also expect the other way, where we also help to cover your shifts when needed.

You must be approachable, smiling, have service as a middle name and a desire to make a difference for our wonderful guests. You will be alone on your shifts – It is therefore especially important that you are a good self-starter and can work independently. You have the opportunity to make decisions directly in interaction with the guest, which means you must be highly responsible and always seek the best solution for the guest.

When you work at night there is usually more calm than in daytime and there will be more administrative tasks as well as replenishment and light cleaning.

Responsibilities

• To provide welcoming and down-to-earth service to our guests
• Check-in / Check-out of our guests
• Reservations of both individual and group reservations via email
• Telephone handling
• Invoicing and cash reconciliation
• Administrative tasks such as noshow and invoicing
• Follow-up from the day and ensure there is readiness for a new day
• Sales from the bar

Profile and qualities

• You are passionate about service
• You are good at working independently and are a good self-starter
• You have experience from a service profession – preferably from a hotel, restaurant or similar
• You understand and speak English at an advanced level - you understand Danish, and speak at a basic level - it is not necessary to speak Danish at an advanced level
• You have an IT flair – we use the Office suite and the Mews hotel system
• You have good energy and a positive attitude – while also being proactive and taking responsibility for your workplace
