Søndervang Nursing Home in Gedsted is seeking a health care professional colleague for night shifts. At Søndervang Nursing Home we are seeking a health care professional colleague for night shifts. You are educated social- and health helper or social- and health assistant , and you want to be an important part of the residents' safety and well-being through the night. Work pattern is 7-7 and every 2nd weekend in odd weeks.

About Søndervang Søndervang is a small care home with 27 dwellings, of which one is a respite bed . We emphasise a homely atmosphere where residents experience presence, safety and respect for their self-determination.

We focus on high professional quality in care and work from the individual resident's needs, resources, life history and wishes.

With us you are part of a broad professional community with nurses, social- and health assistants, social- and health helpers, pedagogue, nutrition assistants, activity staff, unskilled substitutes as well as students and trainees. We see our different professions as a strength and help each other to create the best everyday life for the residents.

As a night shift you will have an important role At night you help create calm, safety and continuity for the residents. You work independently and still have the opportunity for telephone sparring with colleagues when the situation requires it.

• work independently and take responsibility for the residents' needs through the night
• observe, assess and respond to changes in the residents' condition
• maintain calm and overview – even when something unexpected occurs
• work in a structured way and prioritise the tasks
• document relevant and ensure continuity for colleagues on the other shifts
• have an eye for both the health care task and the person you are facing
• respect residents' self-determination and create a safe and dignified night
• collaborate and communicate clearly with colleagues and other professional groups
