About the job
Do you want to make a noticeable difference during the night hours? Become a fixed night shift nurse assistant (SSA) or nurse in a strong multidisciplinary team in specialized neurorehabilitation
Do you want a good work-life balance with a fixed 7/7 schedule? Are you passionate about high professional standards, holistic thinking, and close multidisciplinary collaboration where the citizen is always at the centre? And would you like to be part of an exciting development journey as we transfer from Faxe Municipality to Region East on 1 January 2027? Then Kildebo – Center for Neurorehabilitation is the right place for you.
We are looking for one social and health care assistant or nurse for a permanent night shift in a 7/7 rotation with an average of 30 hours per week (7 days on followed by 7 days off) as of 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible.
About Kildebo – where professionalism and humanity go hand in hand
Kildebo is a specialized neurorehabilitation center with 12 inpatient places, which is almost always fully occupied with residents from most of Zealand. Our residents have complex, recently acquired brain injuries, and our foremost task is to help them return as best as possible to a meaningful and as independent life as possible – also at night, where safety, observation and rest play a crucial role in the residents' rehabilitation.
We are about 40 dedicated and competent colleagues: Center Director, neuropsychologists, speech therapist, physiotherapists and occupational therapists, nurses, social and health care assistants and social and health care helpers.
With us, multidisciplinary collaboration is the foundation of everything we do. We work in a holistic manner, share knowledge across disciplines, and see the whole person behind the diagnosis.
Why should you choose us?
- Structure and predictability with a 7/7 rotation: You work 7 nights from 23:00 to 07:30, followed by 7 days of total time off, which provides fantastic opportunities for focus and a good balance between work life and private life.
- High professionalism and continuous competence development: We place a high priority on courses, teaching and knowledge sharing. You will become an important professional backbone at night, where you perform complex observations, care and rehabilitation. Every 4th Tuesday we have a fixed staff meeting for the entire staff group with a focus on professional discussions, teaching, resident cases and sparring.
- A strong and safe working environment: We have good staffing levels and take good care of each other. There is an open and respectful culture with room for dialogue. We acknowledge each other's professional competencies and know that we become stronger together.
- Flexibility and good leadership: You will have a visible and approachable leader with a strong focus on the working environment as well as a high degree of influence and flexibility.
- A reassuring start: We ensure a thorough and structured introduction to the department, workflows and our documentation practices. We currently work in Cura, but will transition to Sundhedsplatformen in connection with the handover to Region East, and you will receive the necessary training along the way. (Introduction will take place in mixed shifts to gain a good understanding of the house and the target group)
Our wishes for you
- Education: You are a trained social and health care assistant or nurse – preferably with some years of experience.
- Professional interest: You have an interest in (or experience with) the neurological and rehabilitative field as well as an eye for residents' safety and well-being at night.
- Independence and overview: You thrive working at night, take responsibility, can make autonomous professional decisions in complex situations and remain calm.
- IT knowledge: Experience with either Cura or Sundhedsplatformen (or both) is a clear advantage.
- Presence and engagement: You approach daily work with a high spirit, a professionally engaged approach and a desire to contribute positively to our work community.
