Night shift for the residential care facility Kellersvej 17-19

We are looking for an employee with engagement, courage and good humor, who wants to work with citizens with reduced physical and mental functional capacity.

Who are we?

The residential facility at Kellersvej 17-19 is for citizens with developmental disabilities and other functional impairments. It is part of Gladsaxe Disability Services. The residential facility consists of two houses. Each house houses 13 citizens who live in their own apartments. The citizens attend day services.

We work with person-centered care and an affirming pedagogy, where we develop and maintain the citizens’ well-being, health and social life. We work from Low Arousal , where the approach to the citizens is calm and not conflict-prone or escalating, and where the citizens’ self-determination is at the forefront.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team of social educators, care assistants and SOSU assistants, as well as other night shifts at Kellersvej.

The daily life for the citizens is planned according to their support needs, pedagogical goals, social needs as well as health and care needs. As a night shift worker you should be interested in taking part in all these parts of the citizens’ lives.

How do we work?

• You collaborate with the citizens to maintain and develop their everyday lives based on the above core values and objectives.
• You participate in a multidisciplinary collaboration with the residential facility’s staff and other night shifts at Kellersvej.
• You contribute to meeting the citizens’ social, health and care needs.
• After a few months of employment and with a thorough introduction by health personnel, you will take part in the work of administering medication to the citizens.

• You are eager to work with citizens with developmental disabilities.
• You are energetic, personable and can build good relationships with citizens and colleagues.
• You can work independently and collaborate with other night shifts at Kellersvej.
• You contribute to upholding the agreed pedagogical practice, both in the house and for the individual citizen.
• You are calm, even in stressful situations with high workload and deadlines.
• You are stable and can attend on short notice.

The employment

Salary and employment conditions according to the applicable collective agreement.

Employment as soon as possible after agreement.

The position is 37 hours per week, distributed on a two-week cycle from Monday to Monday – but if full-time work isn’t right for you, we are happy to discuss the weekly hours.
