About the job

We have been given permission to expand our team, and we are looking for you who want to be challenged in your professional capacity as a nurse, and who works best when your workdays are not the same. As a nurse in a shared position you will have both day shifts in the clinic and day- and night shifts in our ward. This way you get the opportunity to gain a unique insight into the patient's pathway and treatment.

Klinik for Lever-, Mave- og Tarmsygdomme

Receives patients referred from the GP and hospital departments. Patients come in ambulatory for procedures or follow-up. The clinic is divided into two. Part one is a day hospital for acute patients and part two is an ambulatory for the more stable courses. We offer a diverse daily life including, among others:

  • Biological treatment
  • Follow-up on medical consultations
  • Various procedures such as ascites drainage, venesection, reaction time measurement, fibroscopy, etc.
  • Guidance and training in new medication
  • Telephone guidance for patients and partners.
  • Fecal transplantation
  • Capsule endoscopy

We work closely with the doctors and secretaries in the clinic to provide ambulatory patients with a good patient journey and high patient-perceived quality.

Medicinsk Sengeafsnit B

Specialties in Pulmonary Medicine, Liver, Stomach and Intestinal Diseases and Rheumatology. We are staffed for 25 beds.

Our patients often experience stigmatization, among other things due to lifestyle diseases or substance abuse. We strive to counter this. We meet them with respect and treat them with dignity.

In addition to Klinik for Lever-, Mave- og Tarmsygdomme we also have Klinik for Gigt- og Bindevævssygdom and Lungeklinikken, and in total we are about 65 colleagues

We are a mixed group of primarily new and more experienced nurses and social and health care assistants. We have a close multidisciplinary collaboration. We have several patient assistants employed, which makes our day run more smoothly. We receive daily help from the Pharmacy for dispensing, IV mixing, etc.

We have a free and informal tone of voice, where honesty and good collegiality are at the forefront. We laugh together - even on the tough days. And we pull together.

Right now we are working, among other things, with

  • Competence development within our specialties. Currently we have just launched a larger project within Pulmonary Medicine, where all staff in the ward must undergo an 8-month training program.
  • Strengthening the work environment in a busy ward with many coworkers.

Who are you?

You should

  • Have the desire and courage to be challenged professionally as well as personally
  • Have humor, a good mood and contribute to the good work environment in a sometimes busy and unpredictable daily life
  • Have the desire to work with health equity
  • Have good collaboration skills and the desire to engage in interprofessional collaborative relationships
  • Be curious and reflective and able to think creatively in solving tasks
  • Be able to prioritise tasks and work independently and in a structured way
  • Specialist experience would be an advantage
  • Find it exciting to help shape the development of nursing in our department, with the good patient pathway in focus
  • Take part in the education of nursing students

What do we offer?

Introductory program

  • Individually tailored introduction program
  • Accompanied days both in the ward and in the clinic
  • Expectation and evaluation conversations after 1, 2, 3 and 6 months
  • Teaching in gastroenterology and pulmonology
  • Simulation training
  • Common introduction at the hospital
  • "Good start" for newly educated

We can also offer skilled and experienced staff with whom you can spar and learn from.

Salary and employment conditions
