Nurse for a permanent position in the Tønder West team

In the Nursing Team in Tønder Vest we are looking for, as of December 1, 2026, a nurse for a permanent position in day/night shifts (approx. 10-12 shifts over 12 weeks) with a weekend shift every 4th weekend – possible fixed night shifts are also an option, as we are open to several possibilities.

The position is, according to applicable legislation, announced as a full-time position of 37 hours per week. If you want fewer hours, this can be agreed, though a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Sygeplejeteam Tønder Vest geographically covers an area from Rudbøl in the south to Sølsted in the north and from Højer in the west to the western part of Tønder town. The nursing service has close collaboration with the home care and rehabilitation therapists at Richtens Nursing Home in one wing.

The nursing service in Tønder Municipality is in a continuous process of change and development with a focus on

• rehabilitation – supporting the citizen towards an independent life
• welfare technology solutions
• efforts regarding the municipal emergency preparedness – some aspects will transfer to the region on 1 January 2027
• clinical functions within various areas
• increased focus on nursing at the care homes.

In Tønder Municipality we work with the acute function at a generalist level. This means that all permanently employed nurses must have a diploma module in acute nursing.

Nursing for the care homes is delivered by the individual nursing teams attached to each care home. There is planned weekly presence at the care homes.
