About the job

We see strong nursing professionalism as the foundation for the holistic effort encouraged by the Elderly Act. Therefore, in Rødovre Municipality we have chosen to maintain a mono-disciplinary organization of the home nursing.

As a team nurse you will work closely with the home care staff in daily practice. You will have an active role with collaboration, coordination and professional sparring across social- and health care assistants, helpers and other professions. We handle health-law tasks ourselves, and ensure quality and delegation of nursing tasks.

We are seeking a permanent team nurse for our stable and engaged home nursing service. You will become part of a collegial group with broad experience and strong camaraderie, where both professional development and job satisfaction are highly prioritized.

Your tasks will include, among others

• act as a key person in the interdisciplinary collaboration around citizens
• perform tasks such as wound care, IV therapy, palliation, medication dispensing and rehabilitative interventions
• coordinate citizen/care pathways in close collaboration with the home care service and external partners
• participate in interdisciplinary meetings once a week
• assess and delegate tasks to SSA/SSH and ensure quality of the intervention
• work every 5th weekend on average
• You will have a job with a high degree of autonomy, clinical responsibility and a real opportunity to influence the development of the interdisciplinary holistic care.

Salary and employment terms
