Nurse for day shift in home care

We are seeking a permanent team nurse for day shifts in the Municipality of Rødovre.

About the job

We see a strong nursing professionalism as the foundation for the holistic approach that the elderly act requires. Therefore, in the Municipality of Rødovre we have chosen to maintain a monofach organization of home nursing.

As a team nurse you will work closely with the home care staff in daily practice. You will have an active role with collaboration, coordination and professional sparring across social- and health assistants, helpers and other professional groups. We are self-referring on health act tasks, and ensure quality and delegation of nursing tasks.

We are seeking a permanent team nurse for our stable and engaged home nursing. You will become part of a colleague group with broad experience and strong cohesion, where both professional development and job satisfaction are prioritized.

Your tasks will include, among others

• act as a key person in the cross-disciplinary collaboration about the citizens
• perform tasks such as wound care, IV therapy, palliative care, medication dispensing and rehabilitative interventions
• coordinate citizen pathways in close interaction with the home care team and external partners
• participate in cross-disciplinary meetings once a week
• assess and delegate tasks to SSA/SSH and ensure the quality of the effort
• work every 5th weekend on average
• You will have a job with a high degree of independence, clinical responsibility and real opportunity to influence the development of the cross-disciplinary holistic approach.

• has experience from the primary sector and/or the geriatric area
• is motivated by coordinating citizen pathways and takes clinical leadership
• works reflectively and thrives with both independence and collaboration
• thinks interdisciplinary and solution-oriented
• is good at building relationships and meeting citizens in their everyday life
• contributes to development, professional sparring and a positive and open working environment
