Nurse for medication management – about 10 hours per month

At Fonden Soloprojekt we are looking for a nurse to handle medication management at our residential facility on Thyholm. The position is about 10 hours per month and gives you great freedom to plan the work.

Who is the Soloprojekt Foundation?

The Soloprojekt Foundation is a residence located in Søndbjerg on Thyholm. We consist of three individual 1:1 placements for placed children and young people aged 13-18 years, all at the same address.

We are 14 staff members working to create safe, stable and developing environments for the youths. As a nurse you will be an important health professional partner in our daily work.

About the position

As a nurse at Soloprojekt you will have an independent role with responsibility for medication management and for ensuring that this is carried out correctly and in accordance with applicable law and health professional guidelines.

You will handle both practical and administrative tasks as well as function as a health professional sparring partner for our pedagogical staff.

Your main tasks will be to

• Ensure correct storage, dosing, dispensing and documentation of medicines.
• Maintain medication lists and ensure that the documentation is up to date.
• Advise and support the pedagogical staff in medication management and relevant health-related questions.
• Follow up on medication errors and adverse events with a focus on learning and prevention.
• Collaborate with doctors, psychiatry and other relevant health professionals.

We use the Nordic Pas medical journal system in conjunction with FMK.

Who are you?

We are looking for a professionally grounded nurse who works independently, in a structured way and has a focus on both quality and patient safety.

We emphasize that you

• Are a licensed nurse with experience in medication management.
• Are responsible, thorough and have control of health documentation.
• Can communicate your professional knowledge in a clear and easy-to-understand way.
• Thrive with independent tasks while valuing a good collaboration with the pedagogical staff.

You do not need to have experience from a residential facility. The most important is your health professional experience, responsibility and ability to collaborate.

We offer

• An hourly wage of 244 DKK per completed hour.
• Approximately 10 hours per month distributed between on-site presence and tasks that can be done from home.
• Great flexibility regarding when you perform your tasks.
• An independent role with professional responsibility and close collaboration with our pedagogical staff.

We expect you to come on-site for 2-3 hours every third week. In addition there will be tasks with preparation, documentation, adjustments and guidance, which can be handled from home.

The timings for on-site presence are agreed together so that the work fits your daily life as well as possible.
