About the job
Are you an experienced nurse, and are you motivated by taking a central role where you can both use your health care skills, create an overview and help develop the quality of our efforts? Then you might be the one we are looking for.
We are in full swing strengthening our health care efforts at Thorupgården area 3 – and now we are missing the last piece in our health care key personnel team.
Thorupgården is a social-psychiatric residential facility in Nørrebro, Copenhagen. We offer places for citizens who are admitted under the Social Services Act § 107 and § 108, but have recently transitioned to a pure § 107 offering. This change means that the need for nursing care is expected to gradually decrease as citizens admitted under § 108 move out of the facility. At the same time we are strengthening our health care efforts and therefore staffing up with more health care colleagues.
Your tasks
You will be part of a small, multidisciplinary team with 4-5 employees with shared responsibility for 11-12 citizens. The position differs from a traditional key worker role in that your primary focus is to ensure quality and coherence in the health care interventions across the team’s citizens. Therefore you will only be the key worker for one citizen.
Your main areas of responsibility
- health care overview in the team
- pull the threads together in the health care documentation: Building on our work with updating and systematizing the journals you ensure that the clinical documentation always meets the applicable standards, and that the citizens' health care data and pedagogical approaches are aligned
- medication responsibility: You will have the overall responsibility for dosing and ordering medications for the team's citizens, so there is safety and overview
- focused key worker function: for one citizen
- coordinator for somatic and psychiatric care pathways: identify the citizens' health challenges and help support any somatic and psychiatric issues
- professional sparring with colleagues and partners
- handling of nursing tasks, including wound care and depot injections, observation, follow-up and coordination of citizens' health status
Our professional approaches
We work rehabilitative, recovery-oriented and with Trauma-informed Approach (TIA). The target group is citizens with complex psychiatric issues, often combined with substance use. We focus on strengthening each citizen's possibilities to live as independent a life as possible and creating coherence between health care and social-pedagogical interventions.
We are looking for a nurse who
- is a licensed nurse
- has a strong professional pride and is passionate about health care documentation, patient safety and complex citizen pathways
- preferably has experience from social psychiatry or a similarly complex area
- is professionally well-founded, curious about own practice and open to ongoing reflection and evaluation
- is calm and can maintain structure and overview in a daily life characterized by high complexity
- contributes to good collaboration
We offer
- a professionally ambitious environment with a strong focus on collaboration, where your health care competences are put to use in a new way
- a work environment characterized by curiosity, openness and good humor
- ongoing supervision and good opportunities for competency development and courses (e.g. in LA2, dual diagnoses, medications etc.)
- a high degree of influence on planning and execution of work
- free parking in a locked basement and the possibility to train during work hours in our newly built training room
Employment conditions
The position is a full-time role with start on 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. Working hours are placed in day and evening shifts with a weekend shift every 3rd weekend.
Salary and employment terms are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and within the framework of local pay formation. In connection with the employment we will obtain a criminal record check and references.
Together with your application we ask you to upload your CV and documentation of completed education.
