Nurse for the heart clinic where professionalism and development go hand in hand

Are you up for an exciting workplace with many subspecialties within heart diseases and a large patient flow? We are 22 permanently employed clinical nurses and we highly value both independence and close interdisciplinary collaboration with the doctors.

We are seeking nurses for 37 hours/week in permanent positions.

The tasks are diverse and will reflect the experience you bring. Basic tasks will include assisting with various heart examinations, placement and reading of cardiac monitoring. There are many specialized nursing tasks in the clinic such as PM placement, PM control, echo, heart failure checks, cardiac rehabilitation. In the department we work a lot with development of the individual specialties and a strong focus on digitization.

We expect that you are

• Registered nurse, preferably with at least 3 years of cardiology experience
• Cardiology well-founded and preferably with experience in the mentioned specialized tasks
• Flexible, engaged and can collaborate cross-disciplinary
• Can work independently and take responsibility for your own tasks
• Have a positive approach to the tasks, even when it is busy

About the department

Working hours are mainly weekdays between 7.30-16.00. Weekend shifts are to be expected about every 6 weeks in the department's inpatient unit, as well as some weekdays in connection with summer vacation scheduling. The clinic is split over two campuses Viborg and Skive. Expect shifts at both campuses.

The Cardiology Department has room for 29 patients, and we usually and treat mainly patients with heart diseases. We receive referred patients for elective examinations and treatments, but the vast majority of patients are acute and are admitted directly to the department. The department is divided into 2 groups with assigned patient care. The staff group consists mainly of nurses.

Every morning on weekdays there is department teaching, thereby keeping staff competencies up to date and developing them.

We have both students and trainees in the department. In addition, we participate in the training of trainee nurses.

Salary and employment conditions

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement in the field.

With reference to the Child Certificate Act in connection with the employment of staff, a child certificate will be obtained in connection with any employment.
