About the job

Do you want to help build something new – and make a difference for citizens with complex health needs?

We are seeking licensed nurses for both a permanent position and a temporary contract at the new Health and Care Places in Middelfart.

Here you get a very special opportunity to become part of a department that is under construction, where you and your colleagues will help create a good everyday life, professional quality and the culture that will form the framework for the future of close health care.

You will become part of Nær Sundhed i Sygehus Lillebælt , where we work to create coherence between hospital, municipality, general practice and the citizen's own home.

An exciting everyday life close to the citizen

At the Health and Care Places we receive citizens with complex health needs who require specialized nursing, rehabilitation or palliative care, and who for a period cannot manage in their own home.

Our goal is that the citizens become as independent as possible and get the opportunity to safely return to their own home.

It requires high professional standards, good collaboration and a holistic view of the person.

You will therefore work closely with nurses, social and health care assistants, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and doctors . At the same time, cross-sector collaboration will be an important part of everyday life, including emergency nursing, general practitioners, hospital departments, training and municipal home care and nursing care.

You will be part of something we build together

Together we shall create

  • coherent citizen journeys
  • a daily life where we help each other and use each other's competencies.

We believe that the best solutions are created close to the core task and together with the employees who handle the task in daily work.

Therefore we also hope that you want to bring your ideas, ask questions and help develop the way we do things.

As a nurse you will play an important role

As a nurse you will be a central part of the daily task resolution.

Your tasks will include, among other things

  • clinical nursing for citizens with complex issues
  • nursing responsibility and assessment
  • coordination of citizen pathways

  • delegation of health-related tasks
  • dokumentation and administrative tasks
  • interdisciplinary and cross-sector coordination
  • focus on rehabilitation and the citizen's own resources.

You must be able to maintain an overview, even when the day does not go exactly as planned.

Who are you?

We are looking for you, who is a professionally engaged nurse , who would like to work with complex citizen paths and be part of a strong interdisciplinary environment.

We imagine that you

  • have good relational and professional competences
  • thrive in an unpredictable everyday life
  • can maintain an overview and prioritise your tasks
  • are curious and eager to learn
  • actively contribute to a good working environment
  • see the value in helping and sparring with your colleagues
  • wish to develop both yourself and the workplace
  • meet citizens, relatives and colleagues with respect, responsibility and presence.

The most important thing for us is not that you can do everything from day one. The most important is that you have a desire for the task, a desire for collaboration and a desire to make a difference .

You will be included in a duty roster with weekend shifts.

We try to accommodate wishes and needs, while at the same time ensuring the duty roster works for everyone.
