Then we have an exciting opportunity for you!

We are seeking an engaged nurse who wishes to help strengthen and further develop the palliative care efforts and cancer rehabilitation in the Municipality of Middelfart.

Nurse with a specialization in palliation

As a palliative nursing nurse you will play a central role in supporting and developing the nursing care for citizens with life-threatening illnesses and their relatives.

You will also become an important professional resource for your colleagues through sparring, guidance and teaching, as well as an active collaborator in the interdisciplinary cooperation with general practitioners, the Unit for Palliative Care and other partners.

The role also includes participation in the municipality's cancer rehabilitation services, where you contribute to needs assessment, nursing diagnostic assessment and planning of individual rehabilitation pathways.

The position is generally 37 hours per week with mainly day shifts. There may be evening shifts on weekends, holidays and during illness. You have a weekend shift every 4 weeks, where you work as a district nurse.

The nursing service is organized into five geographic teams distributed across rural and urban areas. As a palliative nurse you will be attached to the rural group.

The specialist functions currently share a common meeting point at Nærhospitalet in Middelfart.
