Nurse wanted for evening shift in Roskilde Home Nursing

As a nurse in the evening shift, you become an important part of a strong professional community. Together with a colleague you cover the entire District South, and in the central areas you work closely with the evening home care to create safe, coherent and high-quality citizen pathways.

We are organized into mini-teams, and you will be attached to two teams, where you have the opportunity to build close collaborative relationships with your colleagues. We believe that the best care and treatment is created in collaboration – through sparring, coordination and a shared ambition for high quality for citizens.

As an evening nurse you play a central role in the complex citizen pathways. You are the facilitator and have a coordinating responsibility to ensure that the citizen's course hangs together across interventions and professional groups. It requires that you thrive on clinical decision-making, can maintain an overview and translate your professional expertise into action in practice.

The role as a nurse in the evening shift places great demands on both your professional qualifications and your independence, and therefore we emphasize that you have experience from home care.

Typical tasks

• Execute planned and acute tasks during the evening shift
• Describe, act and evaluate nursing-related issues
• Handle medication administration and adverse events
• Support the citizen in living an active and safe life based on a rehabilitative approach
• Support the citizen in a health-compromised situation
• Professional sparring and supervision for assistants and social- and health-care helpers
