A bit about us

At Fælledgården there are 193 residents, distributed across six departments. In each department there are about 37 residents with very different and often complex nursing needs. In all six departments there is an attached nurse who will be your close collaboration and daily sparring partners. You will participate in complex care pathways for residents without being part of the daily care.

You will join Fælledgården’s nursing group, which is currently led by an acting professional nurse leader. We at Fælledgården have an ambition of a high professional level. Therefore we invest in education at all levels, as we want good and up-to-date professional expertise to be the backbone of our work based on what is required and what you are passionate about.

Your tasks

As a nurse in the department, your primary task will be to identify nursing needs and initiate treatment plans and nursing interventions as well as to function as a professional sparring partner for the rest of the staff in the department.

You will particularly be involved in medical and health-related issues, share responsibility for documentation in the department and contribute to ensuring that the other staff in the department feel professionally equipped for their daily work. In all departments, weekly meetings are held regarding the residents, e.g. BPSD conferences, triage, etc., where you as a nurse have a special role in supporting the framework for the good life for residents.

Good colleagues

Your colleagues in the house are nurses, social- and health care assistants, social- and health care helpers, therapists, dementia experts, service staff, interns and students. You will also have a close collaboration with our affiliated nursing home doctors, who are in the house two days a week.

• who has capabilities in communication and dissemination with an appreciative approach

There are 39 nursing homes and therefore plenty of opportunities to use your professional skills in a nursing home, in home care or other places in Copenhagen Municipality. At the smallest nursing home there are 32 residents and at the largest 190 residents, and there are eight nursing homes specialised in the elderly living with different forms of dementia.

Terms of employment

Employment as the responsible nurse at Fælledgården, a self-governing institution with a service agreement with Copenhagen Municipality.

The position is 37 hours per week on day shift with work every 6th weekend. We would like you to start in the position on 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible.

Salary and terms of employment according to the applicable collective agreement. In connection with the employment we will obtain a criminal record check and references.
