A bit about us

At Fælledgården there are 193 residents, distributed across six departments. In each department there are about 37 residents with very different and often complex nursing needs. In all six departments there is a nurse attached who will be your close collaboration and daily sparring partner. You will join the complex care pathways of residents without being part of the daily care.

You will be part of Fælledgården’s group of nurses, which is currently led by the acting head of nursing. We at Fælledgården have an ambition for a high professional level. Therefore we invest in education at all levels, as we want good and up-to-date professional knowledge to be the cornerstone of our work based on what is required and what you are passionate about.

Your tasks

As a nurse in the department your primary task will be to identify nursing needs and initiate care plans and nursing interventions, as well as to act as a professional sparring partner for the rest of the staff in the department.

You will particularly be involved in medical and health-related issues, share responsibility for documentation in the department and contribute to ensuring that other staff in the department feel professionally equipped for their daily work. In all departments, weekly meetings regarding residents are held, e.g. BPSD conferences, triage, etc., where you as a nurse have a special role in supporting the framework for the good life for the residents.

Good colleagues

Your colleagues in the house are nurses, social and health care assistants, social and health workers, therapists, dementia knowledge specialists, service staff, trainees and students. You will also have close collaboration with our attached nursing-home doctors, who are in the house two days a week.

There are 39 nursing homes and therefore plenty of opportunities to use your professional skills at a nursing home, in home care, or other places in the City of Copenhagen. At the smallest nursing home there are 32 residents and at the largest 190 residents, and there are eight nursing homes specializing in older people living with various forms of dementia.

You will also find an MPO department, Center for Rehabilitation and Acute Care, and several specialized centers that continuously seek new professionally strong colleagues so we can meet Copenhageners with health care help and support of high professional quality.

Employment terms

Employment as a responsible nurse at Fælledgården, which is a self-governing institution with a service agreement with the City of Copenhagen.

The position is 37 hours per week in day shifts with work every 6th weekend. We would like you to be able to start on December 1, 2026, or as soon as possible.

Salary and employment terms according to the current collective agreement. In connection with the employment we will obtain a criminal record and references.
