About the job
Can you see the potential in other people?
We are looking for a nurse who wants to combine clinical nursing with guidance, learning and professional development. A nurse who is motivated by sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues' development and contributing to a strong learning environment for both new staff and students.
With us you will have the opportunity to make a difference for both the patients and the colleagues who every day have to succeed with the task around them. You will become an important part of a ward where professionalism, collaboration and development go hand in hand, and where we help each other to become even better.
Who are we?
You will become part of an engaged interdisciplinary team consisting of nurses, social and health care assistants, pedagogues, occupational therapists, psychomotor therapists and a social worker. We actively use each other’s competences and believe that the best solutions are created in collaboration.
On Ø2, 1st floor, we work recovery-oriented with the patient at the center. We are focused on high professional quality, but also on well-being, humor and collegial support. For although work in psychiatry can be complex, it should still be pleasant to go to work.
Your role with us
You will be part of the daily nursing care while you also take on a special function regarding guidance and learning. You will become a visible professional resource in the ward and contribute to creating good frameworks for development and reflection.
Your tasks will include, among others
- Clinical nursing and patient treatment
- Guidance of nursing students, apprentices and new staff
- Planning and coordination of learning pathways
- Professional sparring with colleagues in everyday life
- Contribute to a safe and developing learning environment
- Support recovery-oriented practice
- Contribute to maintaining and developing the nursing professional quality in the ward
We imagine that you
- Are a licensed nurse
- Have an interest in or experience with psychiatric nursing
- Want to work with guidance, learning and development
- Have a mentor qualification or are willing to complete it as part of the position
- Thrive in supporting and inspiring others in their professional development
- Are good at building relationships and contributing to a positive learning environment
- See value in interdisciplinary collaboration
- Are curious, engaged and proactive
Why you should choose us
With us you don’t just get a mentor role. You get the opportunity to influence how we welcome and develop upcoming colleagues. You become part of a ward with high professionalism, strong community and colleagues who are passionate about psychiatry.
We offer
- Opportunity to complete a mentoring program, if you do not already have it
- Close sparring, support and collaboration with the education manager.
- Engaged and helpful colleagues
- Good opportunities for competence development
- High professionalism and focus on recovery
- A workplace where job satisfaction and cooperation are prioritized
Does this sound like something for you?
The position is 37 hours per week, primarily day shifts. Weekend shifts are to be expected every 4th weekend and some evening shifts.
If you would like to help develop both people and nursing care, we look forward to hearing from you.
Best regards
