About the job

Would you like to be part of a small and close-knit house, where cohesion, safety, traditions and a good laugh are part of everyday life?

Pedagogue sought for the Nursery at Havndal School and Children's Village. The position is 30 hours per week with start date December 1, 2026, possibly November 1 if feasible.

About us

Havndal School and Children's Village is a well-established institution for ages 0 to and including 6th grade. We are a stable team of staff who collaborate in a positive atmosphere. We regard the house as a single community, where the nursery, kindergarten, after-school program (SFO) and school are closely interconnected.

Community, Development and Well-being are the values our daily life is built on

  • the nursery is located adjacent to the kindergarten and in connection with the school
  • the nursery is normed for 13 children
  • we collaborate across our departments
  • shared staffing in the nursery, kindergarten and SFO during holidays and at the start and end of the day
  • we are located in quiet surroundings with easy access to playgrounds and a short distance to the forest
  • we emphasize creating safe environments within a fixed structure, where there is room for both spontaneous and planned activities – and just to be
  • outdoor life plays a big role for us, and we are outdoors in all kinds of weather
  • we prioritize humor, presence and good laughs highly in daily life
  • we are located in a scenic natural area with many opportunities
  • the nursery works at child height, where presence and safety are weighted highly

We are looking for a pedagogue who

  • has a big heart for the youngest
  • possibly has experience from other nurseries or dreams of working with the youngest children
  • is professionally well-founded and reflective, both independently and in interaction with colleagues
  • can observe and document the children’s well-being, development and learning.
  • can use documentation as the basis for pedagogical reflections and actions.
  • will be the primary educator for a group of children.
  • works in an appreciative, structured and inclusive manner
  • is a team player who takes responsibility and contributes positively to the community
  • thrives outdoors and sees opportunities rather than limitations
  • places high priority on collaboration and openness with colleagues and parents
  • has humor, creativity and flexibility
  • can work in the window 06:10 – 16:50
