We are seeking several night nurses for the municipal home care in Svendborg Municipality. Are you ready to take responsibility for the citizens while the rest of the city is asleep? Then you are the one we are looking for.

• 37 hours per week in night shift with work every 2nd weekend
• We are flexible regarding hours and strive as much as possible to accommodate your wishes

As part of the Health Reform, some nursing tasks are transferred to the region. This means that we must expand our nursing coverage at night, which provides new and exciting tasks. You will have influence on nursing where professionalism, clinical leadership, cross-disciplinary collaboration and the citizen's needs are at the center.

About us

The municipal nursing service consists of 35 nurses with different ages, experience and competencies. We are a well-functioning team with broad and high professional expertise, where collaboration, sparring and community play a central role.

We take the whole person as our starting point and always have the citizen's needs, wishes and possibilities in mind. The values are not just words to us. Your everyday life in the night shift

You will have close collaboration with colleagues in home care and in the elderly care homes: social and health care assistants, social and health helpers and unskilled colleagues.

In the night shift there are two municipal nurses on duty together with a mobile night team of five staff. In addition, there are two night shifts at each of the municipality's elderly care homes.

Each night we meet with the mobile night team and have telephone sparring with the elderly care homes. We triage citizens to identify early signs of illness. Here you play an important role in strengthening colleagues' professional competencies through a reflective, guiding and facilitating approach.

We are looking for a colleague who

• Can be a facilitator for citizens with chronic and mental illnesses, active treatment courses and terminal phases, even when resources are scarce
• Has routine in acute, complex courses and works in a structured manner with a basis in clinical leadership
• Has knowledge of early detection, ISBAR and TOBS
• Builds relationships based on trust and openness with citizens, relatives and colleagues
• Collaborates well internally and across the municipality's actors
• Has pedagogical and communicative skills and a positive approach to new tasks
• Can lead the nursing service independently and facilitate health promotion with focus on rehabilitation
• Has authorization as a nurse and a driving license

Salary and employment

Salary and terms of employment in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.

In Svendborg Municipality, the salary for this type of position typically ranges between DKK 37,534 and DKK 54,773 per month for full-time employment. The salary includes pension, special holiday pay and fixed allowances. There may also be shift allowances and other special payments. It is important to note that your specific salary is determined based on your experience, seniority and competencies and is negotiated with the relevant professional organization.

A private criminal record certificate must be presented upon employment in the position.
