Nutrition Assistant for the Cold Kitchen at Søhusparken Nursing Home

We are seeking an engaged and professionally skilled nutrition assistant for our cold kitchen at the nursing home. The position is 30 hours per week with start as soon as possible or by agreement.

About the job

In the cold kitchen you help ensure that our residents every day receive tasty, nutritionally correct and appealing meals. You will have an important role in the production of open-faced sandwiches, presentations, cakes and desserts, which contribute to the residents’ well-being and quality of life, and we base this on the residents themselves and their preferences.

Your primary tasks will be

• Preparation and plating of cold dishes
• Production of open-faced sandwiches and between-meal snacks
• Fokus on nutritionally balanced meals for elderly residents
• Compliance with self-monitoring and food safety
• Ordering and handling of goods
• Collaboration with kitchen colleagues and care staff
• Contribute to the development of menu plans and new ideas

We are looking for someone who

• Is educated as a nutrition assistant or has equivalent relevant education
• Is interested in elderly nutrition and the joy of food
• Works independently and in a structured way
• Focuses on quality, hygiene and service
• Is flexible and positive in collaboration with colleagues
• Can contribute to a good working environment
