Nutrition Specialist for Area North

We are seeking a professionally strong clinical dietitian for a permanent position of 37 hours with primarily work in our districts.

About the position

As a Nutrition Specialist you will be part of the nutritional professional efforts in Care in Randers Municipality.

You will have an independent role with close contact to citizens, relatives and other professional groups and will work with both diet therapy, teaching and development.

You will be part of a strong professional community with 5 dietitians in Care, distributed across 3 areas, where we spar with each other and share knowledge across.

You report to the Nutrition Manager in Area North.

The position is primarily targeted at the districts. We are curious about which competences you bring, and how they can best be utilized. The tasks can therefore be adjusted in dialogue with you and the current clinical dietitian in Area North.

You will have the opportunity to make a concrete difference for the citizens and at the same time contribute to developing the nutritional practice in Care.

Your tasks

• Individually tailored diet therapy and nutritional interventions for geriatric citizens with complex nutritional issues, including clinical nutrition, nutrition therapy, dysphagia and tube feeding
• Prescribing green prescriptions according to current criteria
• Contribute to early and systematic detection of undernutrition and other nutrition-related issues
• Documentation, follow-up and evaluation of nutritional efforts
• Interdisciplinary collaboration and coordination with other professional groups
• Teaching and professional sparring with kitchen and care staff
• Development and quality assurance of diets and meal forms in close collaboration with health and diet-related staff
• Guidance of clinical dietitian students.

Practical information

The position: Permanent position of 37 hours – mainly day hours.

Workplace: Area North. In the position you will visit citizens in their own homes across Area North, and it will therefore be necessary to have a driver's license and own car available.

Salary: Salary and employment are according to current collective agreement.

Start date: 1 January 2027
