About the job

Are you an occupational therapist with an eye for activity, resources and possibilities?

We are looking for an occupational therapist on 37 hours per week for our Clarification Unit in the Admissions Unit, Care, with start date 1 December 2026 .

An exciting opportunity in a new unit

The Clarification Unit is a relatively new unit that has been in operation for less than a year. The unit is established to support the caseworkers in making correct and professionally well-founded decisions by uncovering citizens' resources, functional ability and development potential.

Due to an increasing workload we are now expanding the team with yet another occupational therapist.

Today the Clarification Unit consists of three occupational therapists and two physiotherapists , who work closely together to create the best possible pathways for citizens. We work with citizen pathways under both the Elderly Act and the Social Services Act.

We believe in potential in everyone

In Randers Municipality we believe that all people have resources and potential. Therefore we work deliberately to uncover how citizens can master their daily lives as best as possible.

Through professional assessments, clarifying pathways and dialogue with citizens we help to find new and often easier ways to solve everyday tasks. This contributes to increased independence, greater quality of life and more dignity in daily life.

Your tasks

As an occupational therapist in the Clarification Unit you will among other things

  • Conduct clarifying assessments of citizens' functional abilities and resources.
  • Contribute with occupational therapy assessments and professional judgments.
  • Support the caseworkers with professional clarifications as the basis for decisions.
  • Identify development opportunities and rehabilitative initiatives for citizens.
  • Join in close interprofessional collaboration with the unit's physiotherapists and occupational therapists.
  • Collaborate with citizens, relatives and relevant partners.

We offer

  • An exciting position in a new and ambitious unit under development.
  • Opportunity to influence workflows and professional development.
  • A strong interdisciplinary environment with engaged colleagues.
  • Close collaboration with the caseworkers and the rest of the Admissions Unit.
  • A workplace where rehabilitation, professionalism and the citizen's potential are at the center.
  • Around 50 colleagues in the overall Admissions Unit.
  • A position that in principle does not involve evening and weekend work.

We are seeking a colleague who

  • Is trained as an occupational therapist.
  • Can work independently while valuing close interprofessional collaboration.
  • Has good communication skills and is able to create trustful relationships.
  • Is curious about citizens' resources and possibilities rather than limitations.
  • Thrives in a daily life with both independent tasks and close coordination with colleagues.
  • Meets citizens and colleagues with a smile and good humor.
  • Would preferably have experience with rehabilitation, the authority domain or complex citizen pathways, but this is not a requirement.
  • Can maintain engagement and professional overview, also when workflows need adjustment, tested anew or rethinked
