Occupational therapist or physiotherapist for Holistic Care in Middelfart Municipality

The holistic care in Middelfart Municipality is looking for three skilled and relationship-strong therapists , who are passionate about making a difference for the citizens and strengthening the interdisciplinary efforts in everyday life.

We are looking for

• 1 therapist for Holistic Care Strib based at Rudbækshøj
• Start date: 1 November 2026
• 1 therapist for Holistic Care Middelfart East based at PV Tuxensvej
• Start date: 1 November 2026
• 1 therapist for Holistic Care Ejby based at Egebo
• Start date: 1 January 2027

Positions are up to 37 hours per week , and the hourly rate/timed is agreed according to wishes.

About the job

As a therapist in Holistic Care you will be part of a cross-disciplinary team consisting of social and health care helpers, social and health care assistants, nurses, assessors and therapists. Together we work based on the citizen's goals, resources and daily life.

You will play a central role in

• Support rehabilitative and preventive efforts with citizens.
• Assess resources, functional capacity and rehabilitation potential.
• Plan, coordinate and follow up on rehabilitation and training programs.
• Facilitate cross-disciplinary meetings and team meetings. If you have no experience with facilitation, we offer training and sparring.
• Advise citizens and colleagues on aids and transfers.
• Contribute to professional reflection, learning and development in the team.
• Ensure coherent citizen pathways in close collaboration with internal and external partners.
• Perform personal care and practical help, particularly in connection with rehabilitation and training programs, where the therapist's professional perspective is an important part of the effort.
• Single-disciplinary sparring with other therapists in holistic care

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed occupational therapist or physiotherapist.
• We are looking for a therapist who sees value in both coordinating, guiding and actively participating in the citizen-facing effort.
• Has an interest in rehabilitation and holistic citizen pathways.
• Works in a mentalizing and person-centered way
• Thrives in cross-disciplinary collaboration and contributes positively to the community.
• Can work independently while being an active team player.
• Is curious, relationship-strong and good at creating engagement around common goals.
• Wants to bring own professional competencies into play and support development in colleagues.

Working hours

Working hours are mainly on weekdays day shifts with start at 7:00. There are two rotated working days every fourth week to facilitate cross-collaboration across day and evening shifts.

From 1 April 2027 the therapists will also join weekend duty every 4th weekend from 7:00-13:00.
