Occupational therapist with neurological experience sought for temporary 24-hour placements

Since our former colleague has pursued new paths, we are now seeking an occupational therapist with neurological competencies for a permanent position with starting date of 1 November 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

I can clearly see myself being part of this – but what are my most important job duties

• Systematic assessment, testing and goal setting in collaboration with the patient
• Ensure a holistic approach involving relatives and relevant collaborators, including care and brain injury coordinators
• Professional sparring and knowledge sharing with colleagues in the team and brain injury coordinators.
• Contribute to the ongoing professional development of the department's operations

Your upcoming team

You will be part of a team consisting of 2 physiotherapists and 2 occupational therapists within the neurological specialty. The team primarily handles rehabilitation of neurological citizens/patients at a specialized and advanced level.

We also have a therapist professional team on the temporary inpatient beds, here there are 4 physiotherapists and 3 occupational therapists. We also have clinical teachers, administrative and practical staff. In daily work you will closely collaborate with the care staff and the nurses on the department.

Important information - transition to the region as of 01.01.2027

The position will transfer to Region Østdanmark on January 1, 2027 to the Center for Citizens (Center for Borgernær Sundhed). This means you will be transferred with your salary and terms of employment from the municipality to Region Østdanmark, with the exception that when employed in the region you will be employed with mixed shifts. The duty station as of January 1, 2027 will be Bodil Eskesen Center.
