Østerhåbskolen is looking for two pedagogues for maternity-leave substitutes

At Østerhåbskolen in Torsted we are seeking qualified pedagogues for two temporary positions (as a rule) 37 hours per week, with start from 1 November 2026 or as soon as possible.

We prioritize close cooperation between the school and the after-school program (SFO), and we work every day to create the best framework for children’s learning, well-being and personal development.

About the position

The position includes both school and SFO tasks.

In the school part you will be an active partner in teaching, where you will, among other things, work with:

• strengthening students’ well-being and participation opportunities
• relationship work and classroom communities
• support for teaching in collaboration with the teachers
• support for individual students or smaller groups.

In the SFO you plan and carry out activities that strengthen

• play, creativity and movement
• community and participation
• the children’s curiosity, independence and social development.

About Østerhåbskolen

Østerhåbskolen is located in the southern part of Horsens and consists of four departments. The Torsted department houses grades 0-3 with about 420 students, of whom 360 attend SFO.

We are part of a strong professional community with about 140 dedicated staff members, who every day work to create the best opportunities for children and youths’ learning, well-being and development.
