Østervang School is looking for a school pedagogue

We are a growing school, and therefore need to add more talented pedagogues to our school.

At Østervangskolen you will become part of a staff group that seeks to create the best possible conditions for all children's well-being and learning. The school's clear vision is to form the students into whole people, with emphasis on both academic, practical subjects, dramatic, physical and musical learning processes.

We place emphasis on creating a pedagogical environment where the desire to open new worlds for the children is at the center, and where curiosity about children's development, for itself and together, is the heart of both leisure-time pedagogy and teaching.

You will particularly be attached to one year group in the lower school, where you will join the team collaboration. You will be involved in the year group's work during the school day, but the main part of your working time will take place in the after-school care (SFO) in the afternoon. There will be approximately one evening opening in the club (4th-6th grade) per month. It is essential for us that you have the following profile:

• You are a qualified pedagogue or have experience as a teaching assistant
• You are present, empathetic and have an easy time forming rewarding relationships with children and adults
• You have given thought to “the good leisure-time offer”
• You see possibilities rather than limitations in developing inclusive learning environments both at school and in leisure time
• You are team-oriented and place high value on collaboration – in both school, after-school care (SFO), among colleagues and in school–home collaboration

Østervangskolen is only a 10-minute walk from the station, from which there are good connections to both Aarhus and Randers. This is a permanent position of 32 hours with employment by agreement, but no later than 1 January 2027.
