Østre Skole in Middelfart is looking for an educator for our C-track

We are looking for a skilled and academically well-founded educator for our special class series on the C-track for a permanent position with primary service to the oldest students.

Østre Skole’s special class series, called the C-track, is the Municipality of Middelfart’s offer to cognitively challenged students who need special conditions to be able to realise their learning potential. For students with general learning difficulties, schooling on the C-track is an opportunity to grow at a pace that fits their prerequisites, thereby fulfilling the goals of the public school and the national objective that all students should become as capable as they can.

Østre Skole is a large, versatile urban school located centrally in Middelfart. We are department-divided and have 300 students spread across general classes (0nd-9th grade), special class series (0th-9th grade distributed over 6 classes) and SFO. There are about 50 staff members.

We are proud of our students and the work with them on the C-track.

We are seeking an educator who, through good and close teamwork around the students and the teaching, helps create a safe and predictable everyday life and can give the students the best possible opportunities to develop their potential – academically, socially and personally.

The team around each class’s task is to create a safe community that can reinforce the students’ experience of being competent and able to participate in and contribute to the community.

Salary and terms of employment

Workplace: Østre Skole – C-track

Working hours: 30-35 hours

Start date: 1 December 2026

Salary placement is made according to the collective agreement for pedagogues at day care institutions, school holiday programs, clubs etc., our pre-agreements and possibly individual supplements based on special competencies, knowledge or experience.

The position’s salary range as a full-time educator will be from 33,101.29 DKK and up to 38,021.37 DKK, depending on the candidate’s seniority, continuing education and personal competencies.

The salary range is monthly pay for a full-time educator excluding pension.

Criminal record and child protection checks will be obtained.
