Who are we?

OK-Fonden Høng Erhvervsskole is a house with a history in the social field that goes back to 1864. We are located on a large and very beautiful site with good opportunities for both outdoor and indoor activities.

We are a psychiatric residential facility that serves as a home for adults with various psychiatric and social challenges and vulnerabilities, including substance use. All residents are registered under SEL §107. Høng Erhvervsskole offers frameworks that enable residents to participate actively in their own lives and to have a structured daily life, based on each individual’s wishes and needs.

Our foundation rests on the idea that it is in safety and trust between us that we all develop and grow. Furthermore, we believe that it is the sense of community that is the foundation for creating meaning for the individual.

In addition to our environmental therapeutic living unit, we also have a large and lovely workshop, which is actively used every day by our residents.

At Høng Erhvervsskole we are a collegial group of several different professions and competencies. What we all share is that we are passionate about our daily life together with the residents, value being good role models, and like to laugh loudly with each other.

We set expectations of each other to be professional and technically skilled and to become even more skilled. We prioritize space for reflection and professional development through participation in supervision, collegial sparring and professional theme days. We work cross-disciplinary because we believe that collaboration between different professions and personalities is a prerequisite for success.

At Høng Erhvervsskole we work from a recovery-oriented rehabilitative approach. This means that we base our work on the individual person’s desires and dreams as the worldview we carry with us every day when we are with our residents. We are professionally well-qualified and also bring our personal interests and competencies into the work life, which broadens the range of our efforts.

Is it you we are looking for?

If you would like to become our new colleague, and can recognise yourself in the description below, we would be very happy to hear from you.

• Are educated in pedagogy, health care or social work.
• Know yourself and your values – and can convey them in a way that creates followership for both residents and colleagues.
• Have insight and knowledge about our target group’s challenges and issues (e.g. dual diagnoses, autism, ADHD and schizophrenia).
• Are able to work in an appreciative, reflective and mentalising way.
• Know that our residents are experts in their own lives – and have respect and curiosity about their dreams and hopes.
• Take responsibility and have an overview of daily tasks.
• Have psychiatric experience – preferably from a social-psychiatric setting.
• Maybe even have further education or courses within, for example, systemic, cognitive and neuroaffective areas and possibly within DAT, substance abuse, OCD, anxiety, autism and NADA. This is not a requirement.

If you can bring a very special skill, we would also very much like to hear more about it.

The practical about the positions

• Permanent positions of 32 - 37 hours per week, distributed over day/early/late shifts and working every other weekend.
• Appointments will be held on an ongoing basis until we have found the right candidates.
• Start date as soon as possible.
