About the job

Our night shift is seeking a colleague for night-time partnership.

Who are we?

OK-Fonden Høng Erhvervsskole is a house with a history in the social field, dating back to the year 1864. We are located on a large and very beautiful premises in the town of Høng, and we are enriched with good opportunities to engage in activities both outdoors and indoors.

We are a psychiatric residential facility that functions as a home for adults with various challenges and vulnerabilities – assessed under SEL §107. Høng Erhvervsskole offers frameworks that give residents the opportunity to participate actively in their own lives and to have a structured daily routine, based on each individual’s wishes, interests and needs.

Our foundation is built on the idea that it is in safety and mutual trust that we all develop and grow. Furthermore, we believe that it is the community that functions as the foundation for creating meaningfulness for the individual.

In addition to our milieu-therapeutic housing unit, we also have a large and lovely workshop that is used actively every day by our residents.

We must know why we do what we do. And we must dare to ask ourselves whether we are doing what we say we do.

At Høng Erhvervsskole we are a collegial group of many different disciplines and competencies. What we all have in common is that we are passionate about our daily lives together with the residents, value being good role models, and enjoy laughing loudly with each other. We meet residents with respect and curiosity - always with attention to the fact that it is the resident’s inner perspective that is important.

We set expectations for each other that we are professional and professionally capable, and that we want to become even more skilled. We prioritise space for reflection and professional development through participation in supervision, collegial sparring, professional theme days and educational courses. We work across disciplines because we believe that cooperation between different professions and personalities is a prerequisite for success, and we are also aware of the importance that collegial and respectful collaboration is an active choice and an effort on an equal footing with professionalism.
