On-call substitute for Palleshave Care Home

Do you want to help create a meaningful and secure everyday life for adults with special needs?

Palleshave Care Home is located in scenic, tranquil surroundings on Midtfyn and consists of two departments with 19 and 6 adult residents respectively. The residents live in their own apartments and have significant and lasting reduced mental and physical function – some with a psychiatric additional handicap. Several communicate via Sign language or body language, and a few residents may display behavior that can be perceived as boundary-crossing.

Common to our approach is that we always start from the individual's needs and create structure, care and development in daily life.

We are looking for on-call substitutes

We need substitutes for day, evening and night shifts on all days of the week.

Working hours

• Day shift: 6:30–14:30
• Evening shift: 14:00–22:30
• Awake night shift: 22:00–07:00

Your tasks

• Support, guide and activate the residents according to their individual needs
• Provide care and handle personal care tasks
• Work independently, but also participate in a strong team collaboration
• Document in Nexus

Your competencies

• Have an interest in – or preferably experience with – the target group
• Can build safe relationships and communicate clearly
• Are proactive, engaged and follow through on tasks
• Maintain calm and overview in pressure situations
• Are present, caring and reliable
• Can perform documentation tasks (familiarity with Nexus is an advantage)
• Have a category B driving license
