On-call substitute sought for Tommerupvej 10, Social Pedagogical Center Næstved.

Are you fresh, positive and interested in helping people who need assistance in their daily life, on a gap year, are students then this may be the job for you. We are seeking on-call substitutes who can help when there is vacation, courses or illness. The weekly hours can vary from week to week. Presentation of the company: We are a workplace in development, where everyone works from an acknowledging and appreciative approach. We emphasise well-being, responsible and engaged colleagues who through teamwork deliver citizen-centered services with the citizen at the center.

Working hours vary: mornings, evenings, and every other weekend and holidays.

Target group at Tommerupvej are adults with disabilities and varying degrees of physical and mental handicaps and need for extensive and at times massive support to cope with daily needs.

Some have physical handicaps and are wheelchair users with sensory challenges. These are people who require a lot of pedagogical support and help in everyday life, and need staff present around the clock. The citizens have different communication skills, several have limited speech or no verbal language.

Who you'll be working with / which colleagues you may meet

We are a residential facility for 19 adults with developmental disabilities with permanent physical and mental functional impairments. The citizens live in their own homes under the Housing Act § 105 and receive support under §§ 83, 85 in the Social Services Act.

We are a group of dedicated colleagues who have a high degree of responsibility and independence in the work.

Pedagogical practice. We have an acknowledging pedagogical approach to each individual citizen. We focus on maintaining and developing personal competencies, and what works. Every pedagogical effort centers on the citizen
