One-year temporary position in mathematics at the HHX high school in Viby

We are seeking a teacher for a one-year substitute in mathematics at the HHX high school in Viby.

About the position

At the HHX high school in Viby there is from 1 November 2026 a vacancy for a mathematics substitute for the rest of the school year.

The position involves teaching three 1.g classes in mathematics. In total, the teaching plus any other tasks amounts to about 70% of a full-time position.

There may be a possibility of employing to cover all three classes, but the classes can also be distributed among several teachers depending on the applications received.

Academic qualifications

We imagine that you

•

have or are in the process of completing a master's degree with mathematics as a relevant teaching subject

•

would preferably have experience with teaching at the upper secondary level, but this is not a requirement

•

have pedagogy diploma (pædagogikum) or an interest in upper secondary teaching

•

are passionate about making mathematics relevant and motivating for young people.

Employment

The position is a fixed-term one-year substitute until the end of the school year and is offered under the applicable collective agreement.

Start date is 1 November 2026.

Due to the imminent need to start there will be ongoing interviews based on the applications received. Interviews are expected to begin in week 43.
