Operational Buyer - Purchaser with technical understanding

At CeramicSpeed we are looking for an experienced technical buyer who can combine technical understanding with strong procurement skills.

You will become part of our purchasing team and play a key role in the daily handling of procurement, supplier contact and order follow-up. At the same time you will be an important partner for production, quality, development and SCM, where you contribute to ensuring that the right components and materials are available in the right quality and at the right time.

Your responsibilities

• Drive technical purchasing from needs clarification to delivery, focusing on quality, delivery reliability and cost.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in quality, delivery reliability and costs.
• Negotiate prices, lead times and other commercial terms
• Contribute to the development of suppliers and purchasing processes.
• Collaborate closely with production, planning, quality and development.
• Read and understand drawings, specifications and product requirements.
• Work in ERP systems, preferably D365FO, including order follow-up, reporting and maintenance of master data.

The role requires that you can understand technical drawings, specifications and mechanical components and translate this knowledge into concrete purchasing solutions in close collaboration with both internal colleagues and external suppliers.

Your profile

We imagine that you have experience with procurement in a manufacturing company and thrive in the interaction between engineering, suppliers and operations.

• You have solid experience with technical procurement and supply chain.
• You can read and understand technical drawings, specifications, materials and product requirements.
• You have knowledge of transmissions, bearings, mechanical components or similar products
• You work in a structured, analytical manner and are strong at follow-up, even when tasks are complex.
• You communicate clearly with suppliers and internal collaborators, in both Danish and English.
• You have a commercial mindset and an understanding of the relationship between price, quality and delivery reliability.
• You thrive in a small team and naturally collaborate across the organization.
