Operations and Emergency Preparedness Coordinator for AURA Fiber

Do you have technical understanding and experience with coordination? And are you keen to work with operations and emergency response around critical infrastructure?

AURA Fiber is seeking a Operations and Emergency Coordinator, who will help ensure a stable and well-functioning fiber network in East Jutland. You will work at the intersection of technical operations, coordination and emergency preparedness.

You will become part of Tech & Operations and will be responsible for coordinating daily operations, planned changes and emergency tasks. You will thrive in the role if you have technical understanding, are good at creating structure in many simultaneous tasks and keep an overview when something suddenly requires action. At the same time you enjoy a broad contact surface.

A central role in daily operations

You will become part of Tech & Operations at AURA Fiber, where you are 10 colleagues working closely together to ensure a stable and well-functioning fiber network.

In the team you will be an important coordinating hub. You help coordinate daily operations, planned changes and urgent situations and have ongoing contact with colleagues, suppliers and other external partners.

Your daily work will therefore be characterized by different types of tasks and inquiries. Some can be planned, while others arise urgently. It requires you to create structure, prioritize and follow up so that tasks are handled efficiently.

Your main tasks

Your tasks will among others be to

• coordinate daily operations and maintenance of the fiber network
• handle and follow up on alarms from technical houses, including access control, alarm and video surveillance
• coordinate tasks with internal partners and external suppliers
• coordinate planned changes and updates to the fiber network as part of change- and incident management
• coordinate emergency preparedness tasks and contribute to prevention and handling of incidents and security breaches
• keep emergency processes and descriptions updated in accordance with applicable authority requirements, including NIS2 and CER
• handle and follow up on security and emergency inquiries from police and other authorities
• handle and coordinate other daily tasks and inquiries to the department
• participate in meetings with service providers on the fiber network

Your profile

We envision that you have a technical understanding and thrive in a coordinating role with many collaboration interfaces. You work in a structured way, follow your tasks to the end and keep an overview, even when everyday life changes and new tasks require your attention.

We also envision that you

• have a technically relevant background, e.g. as IT support or another relevant education
• have at least 2-3 years of experience with operation and setup of IT and network equipment
• are skilled at coordination, planning and follow-up
• work in a structured way with the tasks and have clear ownership of your areas of responsibility
• communicate confidently with colleagues, suppliers and authorities
• speak and write Danish and English.

As you will be working with critical infrastructure, it is a condition of employment that you can undergo security clearance by the authorities.

The position is located in Odder and in due course (2028) the department will move to AURA's new headquarters in Viby.
