At Pegasus we believe that children develop when they are met with presence, understanding, and frameworks that give room for their different ways of being in the world. That belief shapes our daily life and the community we create around the children.

Do you want to join as Pegasus grows? We are expanding our specialized offerings at Børnehuset Mælkevejen and are looking for two new colleagues: a pedagogue and an assistant. Together with the rest of the team you will help create good days for children with significant and lasting disabilities.

About Pegasus Pegasus is part of Børnehuset Mælkevejen in Faxe Ladeplads. We plan daily life based on the individual child's needs, resources and opportunities for participation. You help create clear structures, good relationships and activities that support the children's well-being and development.

You will also become part of a larger children's house with five kindergarten groups, two nursery groups and a special group. We collaborate across and work to ensure that the children have the opportunity to participate in mainstream child communities in ways that make sense for them.

Your tasks

• Create a recognizable and secure everyday life with structure, presence and room for the individual child.
• Plan and develop special-pedagogical activities together with colleagues.
• Collaborate closely with parents and multidisciplinary partners on the children's well-being and development.
• Contribute to the professional community in Pegasus and across Børnehuset Mælkevejen.

We are looking for someone who

• Has interest in special pedagogy and in working with children with significant and lasting disabilities. Also preferably with experience from mainstream.
• Has interest in actively enabling children to be part of communities, as close to mainstream as possible.
• Can create clear structures and tailor your efforts to the individual child's needs in collaboration with colleagues.
• Works in an appreciative manner, is curious about the child's perspective and reflects on your own practice.
• Thrives in close collaboration, shares your knowledge and contributes to a good working environment.

The pedagogue position is 32–37 hours per week.

The assistant position is 32-37 hours per week.

Start date 1 November or by agreement.

Salary and terms of employment follow the applicable collective agreement.
