Rosendalskolen seeks an engaged pedagogue, pedagogical assistant or pedagogical aide from 01/12 - 2026 (or as soon as possible)

The position is a permanent appointment of 30–32 hours per week.

About the position and the tasks

As our new pedagogue, pedagogical assistant or pedagogical aide, you will have a varied and exciting daily life, where you are weekly allocated to two pedagogical arenas:

• SFO: You will become part of a well-functioning team with pedagogues, pedagogical assistants and student pedagogues. The SFO is physically divided into two departments (0–1 grade and 2–3 grade) with about 235 enrolled children.
• Department C: Some of the week's workdays are placed in our special department, Department C, where you bring your pedagogical expertise into a framework with a particular focus on structure, predictability and smaller groups of children.

We expect that you

• Are educated as a pedagogue, pedagogical assistant or have other relevant experience.
• Have a focus on individual needs: you concentrate on creating safe spaces for children with special or individual needs (e.g., through structure, predictability and breaks in smaller groups) – both in the SFO and in Department C.
• Are appreciative and create security: you work from a mutually appreciative approach to both children, parents and colleagues and have a natural ability to create closeness.
• Have an eye for what each individual child can master, and can build on this.
• Can translate ideas into action: you can inspire learning during SFO time and are willing to initiate activities.

Rosendalskolen is located in Hobro, only 5 minutes from the motorway, and the town has good rail connections both north and south. The school has 2 tracks and about 700 positive and interested students. In terms of staff, we are around 100 employees at the school – teachers, pedagogues, pedagogical assistants, technical services, administration, flex workers and leadership. We are organized in department and year-group teams, and there is an extended degree of self-management in the departments. Each department has its own department head.

The school has in recent years focused on developing professional communities. We have developed our pedagogical toolbox in the use of, among others, mentors and class conferences to support each student’s learning and development. In addition, we focus on developing professional learning communities where a concrete examination of one’s own and others’ practices shall form the basis for further development of the school.

The school is distinguished in daily life by very good academic and well-being results, partly through a good and inspiring cooperation between staff, parents and students.

Salary and employment terms

Employment is on terms in accordance with collective agreements, where salary is negotiated with the authorized negotiating organization.
