About the job
Educator – create learning for children with special needs
Would you like
To work with children with special needs?

To be part of a colleague group where there is a focus on both professional reflection and psychological well-being at work?
It's about the children
We are a special primary school for pupils with lasting impairments and a need for special frameworks to support their learning, development and well-being.
We are a school with an educational and professional environment where staff and management think differently and broadly in relation to the pupils' learning. We work on developing each pupil's learning potential based on their competencies and prerequisites.
Our core task: We create security, well-being and development, so that every pupil gets the best prerequisites for
to succeed academically, socially and personally – in school and in life
We are about 156 pupils and 155 staff, and you will become part of a cross-disciplinary environment where we collaborate on the pupils' learning, well-being and personal mastery in Professional Learning Communities.
As an educator you will be a major part of both planning and execution of teaching, in collaboration with your team.
We also function as an education institution for student teachers.
Start well and safely
At Lundagerskolen we work with children and youths who can exhibit outward behavior – also towards staff. We take this seriously. Therefore we have clear procedures and common agreements for how we handle situations where a pupil becomes challenged or acts out. You must feel secure in your work and know that you never stand alone.
We have a strong focus on Low Arousal and trauma-informed psychology, and we provide you from the start with concrete methods and tools to understand and handle challenging situations even if you have no prior experience.
